A. Molybdenum Disilicide Heating Elements Introduction:

Mosi2 heating element is a special product combined metal and ceramics. So it has the characteristics of silicon and molybdenum.

Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) is a refractory metal silicide that is primarily used as a heating element. In recent years, its potential for use as a structural ceramic has been recognised, as the material combines excellent oxidation resistance and high elastic modulus at elevated temperatures.


Mosi2 heating element consists of hot zone and cold zone, the welding point is beautiful ,smoothly, without bump


It should be pointed out that element cannot be used for rather long time in 500-1700°C, or it will be powdered owing to the strong oxidizing action in low temperature.
